The ingredient tips of Joss
- Ground beef: Use ground beef, turkey, chicken, or add some sausage to the ground beef to make spicy Jos!
- Sauce: You can use a can of Manwich, but with some pantry you can make a sauce that everyone will be surprised! The secret ingredients are chili sauce made with tomato sauce and used with tomato sauce, brown sugar, tomato sauce, mustard sauce, vinegar and a small amount of worcestershire sauce (you can switch it to soy sauce if you want). Adjust the sweetness of the flavor, or make it extra spicy and add a few photos of chili powder, chili or Tabasco.
- vegetable: Onions, peppers and celery add a delicious texture. Short of time? Replace cloves with ½ teaspoon garlic powder and skip vegetarian preparations and instead grow frozen peas and carrots or corn.
- bread: Choose hearty bread to stick to the juicy filling! Hamburger bread, Hoagie rolls or garlic cheese toast are great choices. The crusty homemade French bread can be divided into sections and cut in half to absorb the sauce for tender bites.
Change!
- Add sliced mushrooms, black olives, chopped green chili or jalapeno.
- Make Joseph neat by poking a hole in the supper roll and filling it with a sloppy Joe mixture.
- Add some extra flavor and toast the inside and wipe with a hint of fresh garlic.
