Pizza Salad – Nude in the Kitchen

The pizza and salad sound like they are totally opposite, one cheesy, slimy and indulgent, while the other is lightweight, crisp and refreshing. But put them together? You have the best of both worlds in a bowl.

My love for big green salads has no limits, and I’m known to transform all kinds of comfort food into my salads. I’m famous for my daily diet every day because cornflakes are the salad filling for most days.
Street Tacos encountered a large green salad in this Carnitas salad bowl and I haven’t been able to get enough lately. Crispy lettuce is layered with juicy carnitas, tomatoes, avocados, onions, corn, beans and cheese before being squeezed with lime. Although I’m a big fan of homemade salad seasoning, this salad is so delicious that I just squeezed the top with lime and sprinkled with salt and pepper.
This BLT salad is full of crispy romaine lettuce, sweet tomatoes and fresh corn, salty bacon, rich and creamy avocado slices, cheddar cheese cut into vegetables, crispy cubes and the perfect ranch seasoning.
Grilled chicken salad and sweet potato fries have become one of my favorite lunches over the past few years. It’s a cold garden salad topped with warm and crafty grilled chicken and then added with crispy hot sweet potato fries.
All the awesome stuff from the popular grinder sandwich is thrown into the salad, crispy veggies, juicy tomatoes and meat and cheese assholes. Then, it sprinkles with delicious creamy seasoning to make this Italian grinder salad.

Pizza salad
Fresh garden salad topped with warm and cheesy pizza “crumbs” that gets fun and satisfying on pizza night. It was fun, delicious, and had fun to eat. The rest of the pizza was never that good.
If you have never tried pizza crumbs before, you can enjoy it. Imagine your favorite slices, crispy crust, melted cheese and favorite toppings. Then cut it into bite-sized pieces, adding a little crunch, chew it a little, and bringing a lot of happiness to your salad.
If I say so myself, it’s a genius way to run out of the rest of the pizza (if it happens in your house!), or an excuse to hide one or two extra slices so that future salad making can be made before the kids eat it all up.

If you ever need to prove that the salad doesn’t have to be boring (even the pizza can actually be a little healthy too), then you’re welcome. Because honestly, why choose between pizza and salad when you bite it?
